4-track video looper & sequencer
andata-2 is a browser instrument for performing with short video loops: a video groovebox and sampler. Record four clips from your camera and microphone, shape each one, then sequence them into a live audiovisual composition.
What it does
- Record video and audio clips into four banks, encoded to MP4 in the browser.
- Shape each bank: trim, gain, pan, ADSR envelope, choke, and video effects (two-tone, crush).
- Sequence the banks with a 16-step sequencer, with tempo, mutes, randomize and clear.
- Perform them live: playing banks are composited split-screen, horizontal or vertical.
- Bounce the composed picture and sound to a downloadable MP4.
Runs entirely in the browser (Chromium-based, WebCodecs + Web Audio). Nothing is uploaded.
